This is WASHALA - my ethical fashion world!
WASHALA was born from the desire of fair fashion in all its aspects. Starting with the type of product and ending with environmental awareness.
Product | Our accessories are made out of Washable Kraft Paper. The type of paper that we use in production is Oeko-Tex and the Forest Stewardship Council (SCS) certified – awarded to timber forest products.
Our skin | The paper that we use has received the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate which is a symbol of the guarantee of testing textiles for the presence of harmful substances.
Cruelty-free | It only looks and feels like leather ;) We strongly disagree with the lack of respect toward animals.
Where does it come from | Our paper is made in Germany and Italy, although we buy it in Poland from some seriously lovely people.
Who makes it | We used to work with a Polish family company that has been making bags using traditional sewing machines for more than 20 years. Recently, due to the pandemic they decided to permanently close. We bought sewing machines and hand make all of our items in London with care and lots of fun.
Eco consciousness | We do not generate waste during production as our smallest and we deliver your items in biodegradable packaging!
